Our Founder
Dante Engineering was founded in 2012 by Bret Dante, a Professional Engineer fully licensed by the state of Colorado. His goal is to bring high-quality design solutions and technically sophisticated structural engineering practices to all projects, regardless of scope. Whether it be a homeowner with a concern about a cracked masonry wall, a contractor looking to build a custom home addition, or an architect designing a large-scale commercial building, Dante Structural Engineering is the firm for the job.
Bret received his Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering at the University of Kansas and earned his Masters of Science degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Colorado. Prior to founding Dante Engineering, Bret worked at a reputable structural engineering firm, successfully delivering structural design and consulting services within the Denver area. He has over 30 years of experience as a structural engineer in residential, commercial, and industrial building design.
